E T The English Tutor offers private tutoring for students in grades 7-12 in the following
areas: English, Math, Science, College Essays, ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests
(formerly known as SAT II exams), Speed Reading, and some AP exams. Assistance is also available in college level writing and in some college level math and science classes.
Tutors with The English Tutor are either former classroom teachers or professional adults who have had extensive experience as teaching assistants at the college graduate level. Tutors have experience working with students of all cognitive abilities. All tutors specializing in ACT & SAT prep have had specific training in those tests because preparing students for the ACT or SAT is very different from teaching a specific content area.

Locations
Tutoring sessions are generally held at the locations below, but on occasion a tutor will travel to the child’s house or school (travel fee added), and at times a tutor may hold sessions at his/her own house.
